GA4 Analytics & SEO

GA4 implementation, configuration, and SEO services for small businesses and professional firms — so you actually know where your leads come from.

The Problem with "Installed" GA4

Most small business websites have Google Analytics 4 installed. What they actually have is a tag that fires page views. That's not the same thing as knowing:

  • Which traffic sources are actually generating leads and calls
  • Which pages make visitors leave
  • What percentage of visitors come back
  • Whether your contact form actually fires a conversion event when someone submits it

Google Analytics 4 requires configuration to do any of that. Universal Analytics used to infer some of this automatically. GA4 doesn't — it's built on an event model, and if you don't define the events, you don't get the data.

That's the gap I close.

What GA4 Implementation Includes

Audit — I start by reviewing what's currently installed and what's firing (or misfiring). Most sites with GA4 "installed" have incomplete data, duplicate events, or misconfigured conversion goals.

Event tracking setup — configuring the events that matter for your business: form submissions, phone number clicks, file downloads, scroll depth, video plays, and any custom interactions specific to your site.

Conversion configuration — marking the right events as conversions in GA4 so you can track actual business outcomes, not just traffic.

Attribution and source tracking — making sure UTM parameters are captured properly so you know whether a lead came from an email campaign, a Google ad, or organic search.

GA4 exploration and reporting setup — building the reports you'll actually check: traffic source breakdown, top landing pages, conversion paths, and a monthly overview that shows whether things are getting better.

Verification — testing every event in real time using GA4 DebugView and Tag Assistant before calling it done.

SEO Services

GA4 data tells you what's happening on your site. SEO work improves what Google sees before a visitor even arrives.

My SEO services are practical, not theoretical:

Technical audit — crawlability, page speed, structured data, canonical tags, sitemap accuracy, and robots.txt configuration. I find the things that are actively preventing Google from indexing and ranking your content.

On-page optimization — title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, and keyword alignment on existing pages. Most sites have 5–10 pages where small copy changes would meaningfully improve rankings.

Content strategy — identifying the keyword gaps where your site isn't competing at all, and planning the content needed to close them.

Schema markup — adding structured data (LocalBusiness, Person, Organization, FAQ) that gives Google richer context about your business and can produce enhanced search results.

Google Search Console setup — verifying the property, connecting it to GA4, and reading the impression data to find near-page-1 opportunities.

Who This Is For

  • Small business owners who have a website and GA4 "installed" but can't answer where their leads come from
  • Marketing managers who need clean analytics data before they can make decisions about paid campaigns or content
  • Any business that recently launched a new site and wants to make sure tracking is configured correctly from day one
  • Founders preparing for a funding round who need to demonstrate site traffic and conversion metrics
